Shreyans Mehta is a dynamic professional with over 8 years of experience in the field of data science, analytics, and financial modeling. He is currently the Head of Data Science and Analytics at ApnaKlub, a fast-growing start-up that aims to empower the MSME sector in India. Shreyans is responsible for building the data strategy and vision of the firm and driving each and every function with metrics. He manages a team of data scientists, engineers, and analysts to help build solutions for their customers. Prior to ApnaKlub, Shreyans worked at BlackRock for more than 6 years in their Financial Modeling Group. Within the group, he was working in Liquidity and Trading research team where he built trading models and data science solutions to manage liquidity risk of BlackRock and its Clients. He has also worked on iRetire, a retirement planning tool, and derivatives modeling. Shreyans is a highly motivated individual who is always up for a chat about any topic, be it geo-politics, philosophy, psychology, sports, or tourism, etc. He has a strong interest in technology, data science, financial markets, and business strategy. He loves to chat with people from different backgrounds to have a broader perspective of things, which helps him to build as a person as well as helps him to think from different perspectives. Shreyans has a B.Tech degree in Engineering Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He is a CFA and FRM charter holder and has a strong technical skill set that includes product and data analytics, deep/machine learning, Asana, JIRA, Python, Apache Spark, GCP, C++, and optimization. He is also a part of the Young Leader's Collective (YLC) Fellow at The Akshaya Patra Foundation. Overall, Shreyans is a highly accomplished and driven individual who is passionate about using his skills to make a positive impact on the world.
